Many patients with complex dental histories have been navigating treatment, uncertainty, and fear for years. What never escapes us is that these cases are deeply emotional. In the end, our work is less about teeth and more about helping someone feel comfortable in their own smile again.
This case is a great example of what we mean by enhancing, not reinventing. She already had beautiful teeth, but a mix of natural teeth, crowns, and implants created a gray, uneven smile with no real harmony.
Born missing her lateral incisors, she had her canines moved and crowned when she was young, followed by implants placed in the canine positions. This presents significant restorative challenges but through creativity and close collaboration with our master ceramist, we designed a combination of porcelain restorations that blend seamlessly together. Natural, balanced, and as our lovely patient put it “teeth that be teething.” 😂
