New City Family Dental is especially delighted to introduce Dr. Yu. She is committed to providing the best quality of dental care to her patients. She believes in explaining procedures and options of each dental treatment that patients need. Dr. Yu would loves to treat her patients with the utmost compassion and care

She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and 2 years Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Columbia University Medical Center. She participated in Advanced Implant and Bone Graft Surgeries hosted by the Implant Seminar in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Yu is dedicated to the philosophy of offering advanced care in a warm, comforting environment that focuses on individual needs and individual health. She has extensive training and experience in a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, periodontics, and prosthetics such as crowns and bridges. She is also a member of The American Dental Association (ADA) and New York State Dental Association (NYSDA).

Outside of the office, Dr. Yu enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Chong received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia university in New York city, and completed Advanced General Dentistry program with Columbia Presbyterian hospital. She has been practicing dentistry in New York City and New Jersey for 13 years, and has gained a wide range of experience and knowledge in the dentistry field. Dr. Chong strives to provide patients with a pleasant experience at their dental visits, and wants to keep long-term relationships with her patients. Many of her patients call her, “The Doctor with Gentle Hands”. Her goal is to provide patients with the right necessary treatments that will enhance their lifestyles.

Dr. Chong completed hundreds of hours of post graduate courses, which include cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as dental implant and root canal treatment. Dr. Chong strives to educate herself on the newest and most advanced techniques to better serve her patients. In addition, she is member of the International Dental Implant Association.
