Dear Kelley & Gardner Orthodontics Family,

We are delighted to share that Dr. Morgan VerHage joined our orthodontic team on September 1.

We have been very intentional about finding an orthodontist who shares our commitment to excellent care, personal relationships, and treating every patient as we would want our own families treated. Dr. Gardner has known Dr. VerHage since her orthodontic residency at MUSC. During that time, Dr. Gardner helped train her and saw firsthand the qualities she brings to patient care. We are excited to welcome someone we know and trust to our practice.

A South Carolina native, Dr. VerHage grew up in Fort Mill and graduated from Clemson University before earning her dental degree and completing her orthodontic residency at MUSC. Since completing her residency, she has spent the past three years practicing orthodontics in the Charleston area. She is the fourth female dentist in her family—and the first orthodontist.

Dr. VerHage now lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Corey; their young son, Charlie; and their goldendoodle, Maisy. As a family, they enjoy boating, visiting the beach, and spending time outdoors.

During September and October, Dr. VerHage will work alongside both of us as she gets to know our patients, our team, and the approach to care that defines our practice. Beginning in November, she will begin seeing patients independently as one of the orthodontists in our practice.

Dr. VerHage brings warmth, enthusiasm, and valuable clinical experience to our team. Most importantly, she shares our belief that great orthodontic care is about more than creating a beautiful smile—it is also about listening carefully, building trust, and making each patient feel genuinely cared for.

We are excited for you to meet Dr. VerHage and confident that she will be a wonderful long-term addition to our practice. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome when you see her in the office.
