Why we take a Panoramic X-ray:

-checking the progression of your wisdom teeth.
-checking on apex of pre-molars on children.
-checking on bone levels and loss.
-checking on tori (bony growths)
-checking for abnormalities.
-checking on jaw issues.

Occasionally we will take a PANO to determine that your jaw/teeth are healthy. This type of x-ray is beneficial for your provider to provide the best care for you & is typically done every 3-5 years.
It helps us diagnose you correctly, come up with an accurate plan & can catch issues early to help your jaw/teeth to be healthy!
