Dr. Hornsby attended Auburn University where he graduated cm laude with a degree in Bio medical science in 2005. He went on to UAB School of Dentistry and graduated in 2012 receiving the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award. After which, he was invited to attend a post graduate residency with an emphasis on oral surgery, sedation, and implant surgeries. During his residency Dr. Hornsby tr

aveled throughout the state working in various clinics placing implants and extracting wisdom teeth. It was during this time that he became aware of a need for these services in rural Alabama.

FROM A PATIENT LAST WEEK BUT DID NOT POST FOR SOME REASON:
We absolutely love this office, but I have to give a special shout-out to Ms. Kristan! She is an absolute superstar and has such a special gift when it comes to working with little kids.

She has truly been our saving grace. From the very beginning, she has made my 6 year old feel safe, comfortable, and excited about going to the dentist. What could easily be a scary experience for a child has become something Vera actually looks forward to, and I’m almost certain that’s because of the incredible experience Miss Kristan creates every single visit.

Her patience, kindness, and genuine care don’t go unnoticed. She takes the time to connect with Vera, explains things in a way she understands, and makes every appointment fun and stress-free. As a parent, there is no greater relief than knowing your child is in such compassionate hands.

If you’re looking for a dental office that truly cares about children, this is it. Miss Kristan is a gem, and we are so grateful for everything she does! Kristin Payton
