Today, we recognize the ongoing research, and the global commitment to ending the HIV epidemic. While there’s still no approved vaccine for HIV, researchers and advocates around the world continue to work toward this life-saving goal.
Our patient-centered HIV Early Intervention Services (HEIS) program is committed to the early detection and treatment of HIV, which can help prevent the onset of AIDS and other opportunistic infections. We provide a safe environment, welcoming everyone affected by or infected with HIV/AIDS.
HIV Early Intervention Services include:
Free, confidential testing
Prevention and treatment
Health education
Medication counseling

Close to thirty Waikiki Health staff and family members participated in the 47th Visitor Industry Charity Walk on Saturday, May 2, raising nearly $2,000—way to go, team! All money raised by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA) is distributed across the island to support organizations addressing homelessness, youth services, social welfare, mental and physical health, environment issues, and more.
