What a week. 🗽✨

Wrapping up Angel Aligner Ascend 2026 in NYC and my brain is full, my notebook is fuller, and I'm walking away more energized about clear aligner therapy than ever. Spending a few days alongside Dr. W***y Dayan, Dr. Tara Emerick, Dr. Isaak Yelizar, Dr. Paula Alvarado, Dr. Maria Pérez-Boza, and Kelly Ondovic was the kind of experience that reminds you why you fell in love with orthodontics in the first place.

A few things I'm bringing home to Frisco:

Sharper protocols for complex aligner cases, deeper insight into digital workflows and virtual care, and fresh thinking on how we keep raising the bar at Elate Orthodontics across West Frisco, North Frisco/Hollyhock, and The Colony.

The biggest takeaway? Conservative, evidence-based, patient-first orthodontics is exactly the direction our specialty is moving, and it's exactly how we've built our practice. Every family in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, and The Colony who trusts us with their smile is the reason these trips matter.

Huge thanks to Angel Aligner for putting together a world-class event, to the clinicians who shared their work so openly, and to my Elate team who kept everything running beautifully back home.

NYC, here we come! 🗽

Beyond honored to join this incredible lineup of clinicians at Angel Aligner Ascend 2026 in New York City this week. Sharing the stage with Dr. W***y Dayan, Dr. Tara Emerick, Dr. Isaak Yelizar, Dr. Paula Alvarado, Dr. Maria Pérez-Boza, and Kelly Ondovic is a career highlight I won't forget.

I'll be speaking on clear aligner therapy, modern practice management, and how we deliver efficient, evidence-based aligner care at Elate Orthodontics across our three Frisco-area locations: West Frisco, North Frisco/Hollyhock, and The Colony.

Why this matters for our patients back home in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, and The Colony: every conference, every case discussion, every conversation with leaders in our field translates directly into better outcomes at our chairs. Overbite correction done right 👏

This patient came in with a significant overbite. The upper front teeth were covering too much of the lower teeth, creating excessive vertical overlap.

An untreated overbite is more than a cosmetic concern. It can lead to uneven tooth wear, gum recession behind the lower front teeth, jaw discomfort, and long term instability if left uncorrected.

We carefully leveled the bite, reduced the vertical overlap, and created a more balanced relationship between the upper and lower arches. Every movement was intentional to improve both esthetics and function.

Now the smile looks natural and confident.
More importantly, the bite is healthier and forces are distributed properly.

Straight teeth are great.
A healthy bite is better.

Teeth that did not touch properly.
An open bite that shifted forces in all the wrong places.
Muscles constantly compensating.
Joints carrying stress they were never designed to handle.
