Our first time at the Chicago Dental Social Society Midwinter Meeting as Forma Dental was one for the books! ❄️
We’re incredibly proud of our very own Dr. Celin Arce for presenting on “Digital Integration in Contemporary Restorative Practice” and sharing insights on the future of dentistry.
We learned so much, connected with great colleagues, and even enjoyed a beautiful dinner together on Friday night. ✨
Best of all, our team had the chance to have fun and spend quality time together outside of the office - which is not easy with 3 different locations.
Already looking forward to next year! ♥️

🦷❄️ Office Closed for Midwinter Dental Convention ❄️🦷

Our office will be closed on Friday, February 20th as our team heads to the Chicago Midwinter Meeting in Chicago!

For those who may not be familiar, Midwinter is one of the largest dental conferences in the country, bringing together thousands of dental professionals each year for advanced continuing education, hands-on workshops, and the latest innovations in dental technology. It’s an exciting opportunity for our team to learn, grow, and bring back new ideas and techniques to better serve our patients.

We’re committed to staying up to date with the best practices in dentistry — and this conference helps us do just that!

We’ll be back in the office and ready to see your smiling faces on Monday. If you need to schedule an appointment, please leave us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we return.

🦷We're Hiring!

Our practice is looking for a Part-Time Surgical Assistant and a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Kankakee!

Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assisting the periodontist during surgical procedures
- Preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and rooms
- Chairside assisting and patient support before, during, and after procedures
- Following infection control and safety protocols

Assistant Requirements:
- Dental assisting experience preferred, not required (surgical or perio experience is a plus)
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation

Hygienist Responsibilities:
- Providing periodontal maintenance and preventative care
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health
- Taking and reviewing dental radiographs
- Accurate charting and documentation
- Working closely with the periodontist and clinical team

Hygienist Requirements:
- Current IL dental hygienist license
- CPR certification
- Periodontal experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused

Schedule: Thursdays in Kankakee 8:00a-5:30p

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Dr. Piche and Dr. Arce left Wednesday for the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in California. This is a very prestigious, invitation-only membership organization.

Not to brag about her already, but we’re just so proud! Look at our new doctor being a total rockstar in the perio world! Dr. Piche is in New York this week, speaking at the Suffolk County Dental Society with her husband, Dr Celin Arce. Their topic is “Surgical and Restorative Solutions in Today’s Comprehensive Practice”. 🦷😁

On April 28, 2025, Dr. Dubravec officially sold all 3 of his practices to Dr. Amanda Piche. Dr. Piche is a highly regarded periodontist, trained in the latest periodontal and digital techniques and technologies. She is board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery by the American Board of Periodontology, graduated at the top of her class from the University of Iowa Dental School, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
When Dr. Piche isn't working, she can be found spending time with her husband, Dr. Celine Arce, and her two greyhound dogs - Simon and Luna.
Dr. Dubravec would like to thank all of his patients for your trust and loyalty over the years. He is deeply grateful for all of the relationships he has built and the confidence you all have placed in him.
Dr. Dubravec will remain on staff for the time being, in order to support a smooth and successful transition - for both the team and our patients. Initially, he will travel between all locations, and over time he will transition into working solely at the Oak Brook office as an associate under Dr. Piche's leadership.
We look forward to you all meeting Dr. Piche at your next appointment in our office!
