Dr. Jada has dedicated herself to provide the highest quality dental care in a caring, professional environment. Our office provides a comprehensive range of general dentistry services for all ages, children and adults alike, including routine checkups and cleanings, fillings, x-rays, implants, extractions, and dentures. We strive for excellence in every aspect of your dental care and we will always do our best. We respect your appointed time and work hard to stay on schedule ourselves. Since we are rarely late, please understand if we are delayed due to an emergency. If you have a true dental emergency, every effort will be made to see you the same day you call. 🦷 Why would you need a crown?

Your dentist might recommend one because:
• You have a large cavity. Too much of the tooth has been damaged for a regular filling to be strong enough.
• Your tooth is cracked. A crown can help protect it from breaking further.
• You have a large, old filling. The remaining tooth may be weak.
• You had a root canal. Some teeth, particularly back teeth, need additional protection afterward.
• Your tooth is worn or broken. A crown restores its shape and strength.

👑 What happens when you get a crown?

Getting a crown is a common dental procedure.
1. The tooth is numbed so you should feel little or no pain during the procedure.
2. The dentist prepares the tooth by removing damaged areas and shaping it to fit the crown.
3. An impression or digital scan is taken so the crown fits your tooth.
4. A temporary crown may be placed while your permanent crown is being made.
5. The permanent crown is cemented in place at the final appointment, unless your dentist makes it in the office the same day.

Afterward, your tooth should function normally, and the crown can protect it for many years.
