More than 1,000 teeth extracted. Hundreds of lives impacted. One incredible mission rooted in compassion and service.
Recently, USOSM surgeon partner Dr. Michael Hale and his volunteer team traveled to Kenya’s Rift Valley, where they provided critical dental care to approximately 1,000 patients over seven days. Working from sunrise to sunset, the team treated patients of all ages — many of whom had little to no access to oral healthcare.
From extractions and restorative care to oral health education and community outreach, this mission reflects the power of using clinical expertise to create lasting impact far beyond the walls of the practice.
We’re proud to support our surgeon partners through the USOSM Medical Mission Reimbursement Program and are grateful for the compassion, leadership, and dedication shown by everyone involved.
