PrimaryOne Health

PrimaryOne Health Providing quality healthcare for all since 1997. Maloney Health Center, St. Mark’s, and St. (CNHC).

PrimaryOne Health got its start in May of 1997, when seven Columbus Community Health Centers (Billie Brown Jones Health Center, ECCO Family Health, Franklinton Health Center, Hilltop Health Center, John R. Stephen’s) merged into what was once known as Columbus Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. The U.S Department of Health and Human Services designated CNHC a federally qualified health center to inc

Some weeks remind us just how important community health centers are.
Last week, PrimaryOne Health welcomed several community and elected leaders to our West Broad Health Center, including Senator Bill DeMora, Representative Herceal Craig, Columbus City Councilmembers Tiara Ross, Lourdes Barroso de Padilla, Nancy Day-Achauer, and Julie DiRossi-King, CEO of the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers. Later in the week, Congressman Mike Carey also stopped by to learn more about our mission and the people we serve.

They met the staff and leaders who show up every day with one purpose: making sure everyone in our community has access to quality healthcare.

They heard about the opportunities and challenges facing community health centers, but more importantly, they heard the stories behind our work.

The mother who found support during pregnancy. The patient who finally received the behavioral health care they needed. The family who found a healthcare home when they had nowhere else to turn.
These stories are the heart of PrimaryOne Health. They remind us that healthcare is about more than medicine. It is about hope, dignity, and helping people build healthier futures.

We are grateful to all of our visitors for taking the time to listen, engage, and support the work of community health centers. Together, we are creating stronger, healthier communities across Central Ohio. ❤️

"When leaders take the time to walk our halls and hear directly from patients, providers, and staff, they gain a deeper understanding that healthcare is not just a policy issue. It is a human issue. Every investment in community health centers is an investment in the health, stability, and future of our communities."

This week, we are pausing to reflect on and celebrate Community Health Centers Week!

A huge thank you to organizations like AndHealth for sponsoring our festivities. Each day, we spotlight something special about our Health Centers. Today, we honor our patients—the heart of our mission and the reason we strive to serve with compassion and care.

To show our appreciation, each location has set up a small table with treats for our patients. Your well-being is our priority, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you!
