We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Jim Janakievski for a special two-day continuing education event jointly hosted by SFUMATO Study Club and Spectrum Dental Society. The event brought together dental professionals to explore advanced treatment approaches, complex clinical cases, and the importance of working together to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Thursday evening at Brookside Country Club, Dr. Janakievski presented "Tooth Autotransplantation to Solve Complex Treatment Planning Dilemmas," sharing insights into how tooth autotransplantation can be considered when navigating challenging treatment decisions.

On Friday, the program continued at Spectrum Dental & Prosthodontics with "Interdisciplinary Collaboration—Optimizing Treatment Outcomes," highlighting the importance of communication and coordinated care among dental professionals when developing comprehensive treatment plans.

A sincere thank you to Dr. Janakievski for sharing his extensive knowledge, clinical expertise, and insights over these two days. His presentations offered valuable perspectives on challenging clinical cases and reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in providing exceptional patient care.

Our members heard from our very own Dr. Maria Ferriol and Dr. Muhammad Takriti as they presented Hygiene Updates in Periodontics. It was a great evening of learning, conversation, and connecting with so many of our dental hygiene colleagues.
