Thank you, Shaker, for your generous donations to Tag Day! Your support raised more than $18,000 toward scholarships for our music students to travel. Let’s talk 🗣️about this I love ❤️ teeth and I love ❤️ straight teeth but my favorite 🤩 thing to do is make sure that the teeth 🦷, jaws 🦴, and tongue 👅 are in harmony. For this case that tongue was not functioning how it was supposed to so we had a whole team of ENT and me to help make sure our result was stable 🔥and beautiful 😍 all at the same time. We used (x2), and to get this result.

Sometimes teeth 🦷 get stuck and don’t want to come in on their own. Luckily 🍀 we can help 🤓. Check out these progress photos from a patient who had one of her canine teeth stuck. To help bring it in we made plenty of room with an MSE expander. We then put on her custom 3D printed braces and slowly brought the tooth in to where it should be.

Do you know how important your tongue 👅 is???

Your tongue helps you
🔥 keep your teeth clean by playing with your teeth 🦷 all day
🔥 eat (and taste 🤤) all your delicious food
🔥 grow your upper jaw 🦴
🔥 breath 🧘‍♀️

When the tongue has a tight restriction (tongue tie) it maybe hard for it to do what it’s supposed to do.

Can you an adult without 👩‍⚕️? Absolutely 💯💯💯

For adults we use an expander which uses 4️⃣ anchors to help expand. Remember 🤔 the top jaw is made from 2️⃣ bones 🦴 which come together with a suture in the middle. In kids 🧒 it’s easy to open the suture but as we get older it gets harder. But with MSE we still have the chance without needing surgery 🥰🤓🤩. (For some cases surgery is still beneficial for other reasons 🤓)

Expansion is helpful for so many reasons like:
🦷 narrow jaw
🦷 crowding
🦷 vaulted palate
