Mint for More

Mint For More, founded by the Mint Dental Care team in 2022, is working to provide no cost dental care to members of our community who lack access to care.

www.mintformorenwa.org Mint For More began as a vision driven by Dr. Trent McCord and the team at Mint Dental Care, rooted in their shared passion for service and community support. The journey started with the establishment of Mint Dental Care in April 2016. Despite the challenges of launching a new business, the team remained steadfast in their commitment to creating a dental practice known for

its generosity and dedication to the community. To embody this commitment, an ambitious goal was set: to donate the equivalent of what an average U.S. dental office earns in a year—$750,000. As Mint Dental Care grew, so did the impact of its charitable efforts, leading to an increased goal of $1 million in donated dental services by 2028. Mint For More was officially established at the end of 2022 to further this mission. The organization was created to expand the reach of Mint Dental Care’s community impact by partnering with organizations and individuals in need of dental care. Through these collaborations, Mint For More has enhanced its annual donations and deepened its contribution to the well-being of Northwest Arkansas (NWA). The organization’s growth reflects a heightened awareness of and response to the dental needs within the community. Our mission is being dedicated to partnering with local organizations and nonprofits to provide essential dental care to Arkansans in need. We strive to enhance community health and self-worth through compassionate and comprehensive dental services, education, and support. Our vision is to transform lives and elevate self-esteem in Northwest Arkansas by providing accessible, quality dental care to those in need during challenging times. We are committed to enhancing overall well-being and empowering individuals to pursue their goals with confidence.

A smile really makes a difference!

He planned to wait until his teeth fell out on their own.

That was the actual plan, because every other option was out of reach.

He lived with chronic dental pain for years. He went to the ER more than once and came home with pain medication and a note to go see a dentist. A community clinic quoted $80 a tooth to pull, and he was "right under the threshold" for the subsidized rate. Private dentists were "way too much money."

One of our nonprofit partners referred him to Mint for More. A few weeks later, he had extractions and new dentures. The day we sat down to talk, this is what he said:

"It feels good knowing I'm not one bite away, one mishap away, from having dental pain."

This is what access to a dental home actually looks like. Sleep returns. Work opens up. You stop hiding your mouth from your grandkids.

One appointment. A new smile.

Andrew came to us through Mint for More. An hour between these two clips, he had extractions and same-day dentures delivered. You're seeing the first time he looked at his new smile.

This is what access looks like. We are trying to expand dental access in the state of Arkansas. Thanks to foundation for covering the lab cost of the dentures!

A note we'll keep close.

Our hearts are so full after our latest Adult Extraction Day this past Friday 💚

We had the honor of serving 49 patients—many who had been living with pain for months, even years.

In just one day, we provided:
🦷 182 extractions
🦷 18 quadrants of SRP with LAPT
🦷 Started 4 dentures
💲 Over $80,000 in donated care

But behind every number is a person—someone who can now eat, sleep, work, and smile without pain.

This is what your support makes possible. This is the impact of compassionate care.
