RFreshd offers 3 x 20 minute sessions in one seating which suffice most times to get your results. You could always opt for less than 3 sessions in one seating; 3 sessions is ideal. You can see results from just 2!

Client’s teeth stays “whitened” for about 3-6 months, that’s when touch ups are recommended.

SIDE EFFECTS: Dental (teeth and gum) sensitivity is common, especially if you have ongoing dental issues already (I.e gingivitis, severe cavities, oral cancer, etc.). WHAT SIDE EFFECTS CAN LASER TEETH WHITENING HAVE?

Tooth whitening is a treatment that, despite being conservative and generally giving satisfactory results, presents a few side effects that worries some of clients, which is normal but very prominent which should be understood and taken into consideration.
Dental hypersensitivity post-operative. It may be related to the passage of hydrogen peroxide through enamel and dentin, which causes slight pulp irritation. For this reason, bleaching is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled dental hypersensitivity.
Soft tissue sensitivity. It is related to the patient’s response to the concentration of peroxide solution. To reduce irritation, it is suggested to reduce the exposure time to the bleaching agent. If the problem persists, treatment should be suspended for one or two days while the gingival condition improves.
Lastly, if the bleaching product is ingested it can cause gastric and throat irritation.
