Dr. Pri from Glee Children’s Dentistry had the joy of visiting Tillie and Bob Burgin Elementary School in Arlington for Career Day—and what a fun, inspiring day it was! 💙
She spoke to bright young students about the importance of dental health, how to keep their smiles strong, and even gave them a peek into what it’s like to be a dentist. From hands-on demos to curious questions, the kids were all in! 😄

Nursing caries or baby bottle caries is a common cause of tooth decay and tooth loss in young kids. Good oral hygiene routine and habits must be maintained in kids of all ages starting as soon as the first tooth appears. Did you know that your baby’s sucking on fingers is a self-soothing reflex? The habit develops naturally and it is normal for kids under 3 years of age to sick their thumb or use a pacifier.

We encourage to stop the pacifier use as soon as teeth start appearin and it should be completely stopped before the age of 3 years.
