We have changed many patients’ lives through cosmetic dentistry. Many patients report that their lives have improved because they can really smile now. 4 x Layered Zirconia crowns to replace poor, older crowns with color issues as well as old, stained bondings (composites) for another excellent patient of ours. We try to match the color to the rest of the dentition. Some patients start by whitening their teeth first.

4 x Layered Zirconia crowns to replace poor, older crowns (one of which was loose due to the patient’s bite) as well as old stained bondings (composites) for a wonderful patient with some bite issues. The entire bite portion of the OLD crowns was metal due to limited space!
Many patients have deep and collapsed bites leaving no room at all for any kind of restorations making their cases challenging. Zirconia is an excellent, strong material that can be thin in these cases. We explain to the patients these limitations and hope that they will be more careful on those teeth/ wear nightguard.

Three e.max porcelain veneers and a three unit e.max bridge to restore this patient’s smile. An implant would have been the best choice to replace the missing tooth but this patient absolutely didn’t want an implant so we went with a bridge.

For our cosmetic cases, Patients come in beforehand for some preliminary models and diagnostic wax-up models to discuss the color and the shape of teeth. Once they approve the esthetics on models, the teeth are prepared (reduced) and scanned and impressions taken and sent to lab where our master technicians fabricate these restorations. These are cemented on the teeth a couple of weeks later. In the mean time, we make temporaries using the same diagnostic wax-ups so the teeth are covered at all times and patients can get a feel for how the final restorations may look like.
