Age 7 isn’t too early, it’s exactly right. Catching the right things early can mean simpler treatment and a much easier road ahead.
Some issues are far easier to treat during growth:
✅ Crossbites and underbites - Best guided while the jaw is still growing. Waiting often means more complex treatment later.
✅ Narrow palates - Widening the upper jaw is much easier while the jaw is still developing. It can reduce crowding and prevent impacted teeth.
✅ Baby or impacted tooth removal - Removing the right teeth at the right time can guide permanent teeth into better positions, sometimes without needing an appliance at all.
Most kids leave with good news and a plan to simply monitor. But for those who need it, early action makes all the difference.
