Very grateful: My birthday week. It was an agglomeration of bustling, noisy, meticulously planned gatherings, delicious food cooked with love, Little One as the Song Leader, Little’s impromptu swim and dental checkup. Thank you to our friends I know for decades and new ones who have entered our lives, our family- our silent bedrock and God who has made health for all of us possible. In search of Gahoujin -an Omakase, hidden in the granite alleyways in the centre of Fukuoka, by the river, a few paces away from cafes with light French pastries. Fukuoka is smaller, friendlier, walkable, with a gentle pace of life. Enjoy ! .lew

Food is our love language. Celebrating 2 birthdays with homecooked food, grateful to my wife for planning menus, sweating over the hot woks, supervising maids! And we also had the yummy fish otak and seafood salad by Happy birthday to old older son. We have seen him grow, mature into a wise and prudent lawyer! .lew

Nobody? The well regarded Dr Jeanette Chua interviews Dr Kenneth Lew . What’s the conclusion? Currently, Artificial Intelligence cannot take over the dentists’ handwork, where the dentist exercises actual physical discretion on the patients teeth and gums. AI has been around playing a role in simulating, “consumerising” and “visualising” the before and after for orthodontic patients. So AI has increased the market share for the profession. At current stage, the experienced and ethical dentist must embrace it but not at the expense of his integrity and most importantly, sound clinical judgement. This tripartite synergy has allowed us to provide orthodontic education since 2012. Grateful to the 300+ doctors from SG who have spend long hours in sharpening their dental skills .
