Take Care of Your Teeth (Series 3) - Wisdom Tooth

Is your wisdom tooth causing you pain?
You may be having inflammation or even infection of the tissues surrounding the wisdom tooth, or your wisdom tooth may be badly decayed and its nerves are inflamed.

What can you do?
1. Keep it as clean as possible by brushing and flossing;
2. Use an antiseptic mouthwash;
3. Visit your dentist who can clean the wisdom tooth and the surrounding inflamed tissues and may also prescribe you some anti-inflammatory medications or even antibiotics;
4. You dentist may advise the removal of the wisdom tooth if it is badly decayed, or has developed in a way that makes it impacted and stuck within the bone in a non-functional and useless fashion.
