Reattachment of fractured tooth segment✌🏻.
A patient aged 16 years reported to the OPD with fractured left maxillary central incisor.The trauma occured 15-16 hours before, but fortunately the patient had the fractured segment with him .The fractured segment was placed in normal saline solution.On examination pulp was exposed ,so RCT is performed and broken segment is reattached 🦷.

Instead of conventional RCT, a contemporary technique is attempted in this case ,which is less aggressive and maintains the tooth vitality.✅
1.Access preparation is done.
2.After pulpotomy bleeding is arrested.
3.MTA is placed in the chamber.
4.Wet cotton is placed over MTA for setting .
5.Tooth is temporarily filled with GIC.
6.After 24hrs, GIC is removed .
7.Tooth is permanently filled with composit.
8.Patient is kept on follow up.

So this case was reported in OPD and was considered for filling at first glance.After taking proper history, clinical examination and radiographic investigation it was diagnosed as "asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis with symptomatic periapical periodontitis".RCT was done under aseptic protocols🦷.
So what we learnt is "follow the chain of diagnosis"🔍.....Don't rushhhhh🤗.
