Orthodontic Mechanics:
Ballista Loop is widely used for traction of impacted Canines into the main arch. In this case, it is formed from 0.016 inch SS wire. After erupting the canines to the CEJ, they are pulled into the main arch using Peggy back or other mechanics.

Step Bend or Intrusion Bend is given for correcting level of a tooth in order to achieve the most esthetic smile arc. In this case, the Canine was positioned little below the occlusal plane. A step bend was given in 17/25 SS wire to intrude it.

Z Bend is a second order bend for TIP or mesiodistal inclination correction. Here the left central incisor is tipped more mesially and the root distally. This small mechanic will make the incisor upright.
