Today marks a landmark achievement as the first ever Laparoscopic Sleeve
Gastrectomy was successfully performed at PRTH, ushering in a new era of advanced bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at PRTH.
Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy is a minimally invasive weight loss procedure performed through small incisions using a laparoscope.
Compared with traditional open surgery, it offers numerous benefits, including; smaller scars with improved cosmetic outcomes
and an effective and sustained weight loss with improvement in obesity-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and obstructive sleep apnea
Congratulations to the entire surgical team under the supervision of Col (R)
Dr. Malik Saeed Awan on this
remarkable accomplishment. Together, we continue to push the boundaries of excellence and bring world class surgical care closer to our patients.
A proud day for PRTH. A significant step forward in the future of minimally invasive surgery.

Illustrious memories, pivotal milestones, and remarkable moments throughout this journey, POR has served as a unifying platform for the RMDC family, bringing diverse voices together and fostering enduring connections. As we commemorate its fifth anniversary, we extend our deepest appreciation to all those whose contributions have enabled POR to attain new heights. What began as a platform for sharing life changing experiences has evolved into a comprehensive forum, showcasing the institution’s achievements, milestones, and events to a wider audience. This journey stands as a testament to the growth, resilience, and collective spirit of the RMDC community. We acknowledge with gratitude the team, the audience, and the students whose continued support inspires us to strive for even greater excellence in the years ahead. Happy 5th anniversary to POR and its followers!💫

It is a moment of pride, not just for today, but for the future of RMDC. What we celebrate today is more than an achievement. It is the result of years of hard work, resilience, and belief in a bigger dream.
Being among the first from RMDC to reach this milestone makes it even more special. It sets a precedent, opens new doors, and shows every student that with dedication and consistency, no goal is too far. This achievement is not just theirs alone but a proud moment for the entire RMDC.
Wishing her success, growth, and excellence in everything that lies ahead ✨
