Replace toothbrushes every 3 to 4 months. Consider getting a new toothbrush sooner if you have been sick, especially if the toothbrush is stored close to other toothbrushes. When in doubt, look at the bristles. If they are frayed, they won't clean teeth as thoroughly.
Another reason you should change your toothbrush every three months is that over time, your toothbrush bristles will become worn out. Worn out bristles tend to be more abrasive on your gums, which can lead to premature gum recession and inflammation in your gums.

Poor oral hygiene manifests in a number of different forms. From bleeding or swelling gums to toothaches, growths in the mouth and alterations to the tongue's surface, poor oral hygiene has plenty of forms. Some patients exhibit several common indications of poor oral hygiene.

So Brush thoroughly twice a day and do flossing daily. Ea a balanced diet and limit snacks between meals. Use dental products that contain fluoride, including toothpaste.

Just for Awareness!
A person came to my Clinic for cleaning his teeth, he was a regular user of chewing to***co for last 12 years, upon examination there was severe staining and plaque,calculus with poor oral hygiene. I did scaling and polishing which took just 2hrs due to hard staining and sever plaque,calculus.
Usually the scaling polishing takes 30 to 45mnts .
Kindly take care of your teeth and oral hygiene.
Avoid such things which is harmful for ur oral hygiene.

Post-Operative Instructions.

1).Do not rinse or spit for 24 hours after surgery.
2).Keep your fingers and tongue away from the socket or surgical area.
3).Use ice packs on the surgical area (side of face) for the first 48 hours, apply ice 20 minutes on and 10 minutes off.
4).For mild discomfort, take analgesics every 3–4 hours.

2) Clean between your teeth daily.

3) Eat a healthy diet that limits sugary beverages and snacks.

4) See your dentist regularly for prevention and treatment of oral disease.
