A file retrieval case:

this patient came to my practice with a separated file in #25.
used endodontic ultrasonic tips to engage and remove the separated file — and to add to the challenge, the file actually broke into half during the process.

Both segments were successfully retrieved, patency was established in all canals, and the system was thoroughly cleaned, irrigated, and obturated.
Patient advised to proceed with full-coverage crowns.
