Dentistry is one of those careers that looks simple from the outside.

You sit back, open wide, and someone fixes your teeth. Easy, right? What most people miss is that behind the mask is a person running on adrenaline, precision, and sheer willpower for hours on end.

Kindness toward your dentist matters because they are human first and clinician second.

The same goes for how dentists treat themselves.

Because here is the truth most dental schools never teach: being technically brilliant is not enough to sustain a long career.

The dentists who truly thrive are the ones who protect their mental and relational health with the same intensity they protect their clinical skills.

So please be kind to your dentist even if you’re scared, even if you’re uncomfortable, and even if it costs more money then you’d like to spend.
