GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY: Be a Handwashing Hero🌿🤲

The Schools Division Office of La Carlota proudly joined the celebration of Global Handwashing Day 2025, highlighting the power of clean hands in preventing disease and promoting good health! 💧✨

The activity was made possible through the donation of soaps from Soap Cycling Philippines and featured an informative health lecture at Miguel S. Mondia Elementary School, conducted by the La Carlota City Primary Care Facility I 's Health Education and Promotion Officer, Mr. Ugee Bon Ferancullo. 💚

Learners were reminded that proper handwashing with soap and water is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to stay healthy and protect our community from illness. 🙌

Together, let’s make clean hands a lifelong habit! 💦

One Health Week 2025 Activities | BAYANIHAN HEALTH MISSION: Medical and Dental Care for Every Learner🌿✨

Held last October 17, 2025, at Miguel S. Mondia Elementary School, the Bayanihan Health Mission brought to life the true spirit of bayanihan — unity in service for a healthier community! 🤝

This meaningful medical-dental mission was made possible through the partnership of the Schools Division Office of La Carlota - School Health and Nutrition Unit - La Carlota City , La Carlota City Primary Care Facility I , Philippine Dental Association – Negros Occidental Chapter, Soap Cycling Philippines, and our dedicated partners from the Delta Company of 62nd Infantry "Unifier" Battalion , and 94th Infantry Battalion, 3ID, PA. 🇵🇭💊🦷✂️

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the support of the Local Government Unit of La Carlota through its Mayor, Joelu Jalandoni for the success of this activity.

Beneficiaries received free medical consultations and medicines, dental services and procedures, haircut services, and hygiene kits — all in line with promoting accessible, holistic, and sustainable health care for the community. 💚

Our heartfelt thanks to Miguel S. Mondia Elementary School for graciously hosting the event, and to all our partner agencies for their unwavering commitment to public service. Together, we move as one for One Health, One Community, and One Healthy Mangkasanon! 🌿💪

One Health Week 2025 Activities | RUN FOR WELLNESS

The One Health Week 2025 Opening Program kicked off with a burst of energy and enthusiasm on October 13, 2025, through a 3KM Fun Run joined by our spirited junior and senior high school students and teachers! 🎉

This activity set the tone for the week’s celebration — advocating movement, physical activity, and a healthy lifestyle for all. 🌿 After the fun run, participants gathered for the launching program, highlighting the importance of staying active as a key to good health and well-being. 💪

🏅 Congratulations to our top male and female finishers and runner-ups, who proudly received medals and tokens for their achievement!
