A little life update from my crochet corner 🤍🧶
I’ve been on a quiet hiatus for a while—not because crochet was forgotten, but because God led me into a new venture: being able to practice my passion into my own- a dental clinic. What once lived only in silent prayers has now become reality through the Lord, our faithful Provider. ✨🦷
Even in this season of building something new, crochet stayed close to my heart. On the side, in between planning and praying, I continued creating. The skirt I’m wearing here holds a very special place—it was a long-term project that began in 2023, which was supposed to be a holiday skirt meant to be worn on Christmas holidays on the said year but wasn't able to finished it last year with plenty of revisions. And by God’s perfect timing, I was able to give it its first proper wear on the opening day of my clinic.
This skirt is made entirely of granny squares from my unreleased Secret Garden pattern collection. Each square is carefully joined to form a structured yet graceful silhouette. It was crocheted using mercerized thread held together with glitter yarn, giving the piece a subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully( you might not be able to see it here)—elegant, delicate, yet strong, just like the season it represents.
