A : BECAUSE NOT ALL TEETH AND GUMS HAVE THE SAME CONDITION. ❤️

Some patients have very little calculus, so their cleaning may only take a few minutes. Others have heavy calculus, deposits below the gumline, inflamed gums, or periodontal pockets, which require more time and careful removal.

⏱️ Mild cases can be relatively quick.
⏱️ Moderate to severe cases may take 30 minutes or more.

And yes, deeper cleaning can be uncomfortable, especially when the gums are inflamed or sensitive. If needed, your dentist may recommend local anesthesia to make the procedure more comfortable.

So don’t compare your cleaning with someone else’s. 😊

Fast doesn’t always mean better. Thorough and proper cleaning is what matters. 🦷✨
