Congratulations to Dr. Briana Byrnes who was recently honored by the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region at their Resourceful Women's Awards. Dr. Byrnes was recognized for her work with the YWCA community in providing Cosmetic Dentistry & education to the community. Please join us in providing a warm welcome to our newest member Maria, an intern from the Hudson Valley Community College's (HVCC) Dental Assisting Program.

Adams-Byrnes Dentistry has been a strong supporter of the HVCC programs for many years and greatly values the opportunity to provide professional development and enrichment for each year's class through internship experiences. The intern program provides hands-on experience for students looking to break into the field and build their confidence in a supportive environment.

Huge thank you to Dr. Byrnes mentor, Dr. DuPont of Florida, for visiting our office this week to help us improve our craft. Dr. DuPont is a nationally recognized Dentist and advanced instructor at the prestigious Dawson Academy where Dr. Byrnes studied for her advanced residency degree.

The visit included a lot of laughs and great advice for how we can provide even higher quality services to our patient community. We remain deeply committed to Continuing Education to ensure the best Dentistry possible for our cherished patients. Onwards and upwards!

Congratulations to our Dental Assistant, Cassidy, on her recent graduation from the Implant Seminars: Phlebotomy & Platelet-Rich Plasma course.  Cassidy traveled to Boston to train with the industry leaders in PRP technology and completed the course with flying colours.

Moving forward, our office will now offer PRP as an additional service with all surgeries.  This service provides numerous benefits to our patients by reducing bleeding and enhancing healing and bone growth--especially in older patients.
