Eating is not really possible because they are hollow and made of acryl so there not strong enough to stand biting force and could break. But since there so easy to remove its not annoying at all to take them out before eating something. To make them custom made i do need to have an impression of your front teeth. For this i use alginate this tastes like mint :P. You can also order an "diy impression pack" send p.m. for more info about this. Normally it takes around 2 weeks before you receive your fangs. It depends how busy it is. You can pick them up or i will just send them to your adress in a small box that fits through your letterbox. If you have any questions please contact me ;)
