Dear Family Members,
RE: CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF MAMA REV. CANON ELIZABETH AYAK CHOL DEU.
It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we received the sad news of the passing of our beloved Mama, Rev. Canon Elizabeth Ayak Chol Deu(Daië mänyë thök), during her admission at the Juba Medical Complex (JMC) on Thursday , 27/08/2026 at 08:30am. On behalf of myself, my family, Office of the Uganda Chapter and the entire community, I offer our most profound and heartfelt condolences to you during this time of immense grief.
Mama Rev. Canon Elizabeth was a towering pillar of faith, wisdom, and leadership. Her transition to glory leaves a massive void not only in your family but also in the entire church and the community she so passionately served.
We particularly remember and celebrate her outstanding work within the Thiec Nhialic Group Ministry. As the Overall Advisor for the Youth Mama Directorate, she poured her heart into guiding, mentoring, and shaping the younger generation. Her spiritual nurturing, motherly counsel, and unwavering commitment to the youth ministry helped build a strong foundation of faith for many young women and families. She led by example, embodying the grace, humility, and strength of a true servant of God.
While we mourn her departure from this earthly life, we also find comfort in the scripture from 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Mama Elizabeth ran her race exceptionally well and has returned to the master she served so faithfully.
We pray that the Almighty God grants your family the fortitude, peace, and comfort that surpasses all human understanding as you navigate this painful loss. May her powerful legacy of faith and love continue to inspire us all.
May the soul of Mama Rev. Canon Elizabeth Ayak Chol
