This gentleman came to clinic sadly after previous car accident that ended with losing all his teeth. The case were even complicated more by presence of impacted tooth horizontally positioned.
The analysis of case clinically also showed reduced ALFH During the consultation visits , he expressed his concerns and fears of doing surgical implants procedure.
We took his concerns into consideration during the planning and case analysis.

We planned his case carefully through flapless computer guided implants . The procedure took less than 40 mins.
The patient was finally happy and satisfied totally, with advice to break the fear cycle and treat the lower jaw 🌹🌹

يعد صرير الأسنان (Bruxism) حالة طبية يتم أثناءها طحن وصك الأسنان عن طريق ضغطها ببعضها، وفي حال الإصابة بصرير الأسنان فقد يضغط الفرد على أسنانه دون وعي منه.
صك الأسنان يشمل مجموعة من الأعراض،:

الشعور بالصداع.
ألم وتيبس الفك.
تآكل الأسنان.
ألم وحساسية الأسنان.
التهاب اللثة.
اضطرابات النوم

كيف تتخلص من صرير الأسنان؟

مراجعة المريض خياراته مع الطبيب المختص لمحاولة التقليل من التوتر، وذلك في حال كان التوتر هو السبب وراء الإصابة
ارتداء واقي الفم ( night guard ) في الليل من الممكن أن يساعد في التخلص من صرير الأسنان أثناء النوم، حيث أنها تعمل على موازنة الضغط عبر الفك وإنشاء حاجز مادي بين الأسنان في الفك العلوي والأسنان في الفك السفلي لحمايتها من التعرض لمزيد من الضرر.

محاولة كسر عادة صرير الأسنان عن طريق إدراكها ومحاولة عدم اللجوء لها وأخذ الاستشارة من المختصين في المساعدة على التخلص من هذه العادة واستبدالها.

البوتكس وتأثيره العلاجي السحري ... ( قريباااا)

وفي الآونة الأخيرة ، ثبت أن توكسين البوتولينوم( البوتكس) خيار علاجي مثالي لاستهداف ومعالجة النشاط العضلي المفرط والتشنج. قد لا تكون العديد من العلاجات الأخرى ، مثل الأدوية المضادة للالتهابات وأجهزة طب الأسنان ، كافية لمعالجة مصدر المشكلة. على الرغم من استخدام أجهزة طب الأسنان بنجاح لمنع طحن الأسنان في الليل ، إلا أنها قد لا توقف الآثار الجانبية المؤلمة للأسنان واللثة.
