This young patient came to the clinic complaining about the looks of his smile. His 2 centrals had been endodontically treated when he was younger due to trauma and restored with big restorations.
Treatment plan modalities were either orthodontic treatment then 2 crowns for the centrals or crowns and veneers with extra reduction of the right central incisor.
Risks and benefits were explained to the patient thoroughly and he chose the second option.
First, oral hygiene instructions were emphasized and explained to the patient since oral hygiene is the most important aspect in maintaining any treatment.
Then, scaling was done to achieve a healthy gingivae and get rid of any calculus or food accumulation.
One week later, gingivictomy was done to balance the smile, control teeth length and reduce gummy smile.
2 weeks later, the visit for veneer preparation from 5-5 and crown preparation for the 2 centrals (the upper jaw only),
With all the work that comes with it such as impressions, temporaries, and shade selection.
He wanted a natural but glowy look and the shade was considered accordingly.
After a couple of days final E-Max veneers and crowns were tried on and cemented.
