Job Vaccancy- Dental Assistant (Nurse)

The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant (Nurse) to join our team.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a dental assistant/nurse is required.
• Good knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and clinical procedures.
• Ability to assist dentists during clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, organized, and committed to professional standards.

TIU Students Shine at Medico 2026: Two Champions, Two First-Place Victories! 🏆🦷

We are immensely proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Shawkatbag Edris, a 5th-stage Dental Student at Tishk International University, who proudly represented TIU at Medico 2026 through the MedStars Program.

Shawkatbag showcased his innovative Lyia AI project, developed for dental radiography, demonstrating creativity, technological innovation, and a strong commitment to advancing dentistry through AI.

He also competed in the final MediVote event, achieving an outstanding 1st place among 420 contestants.

We are equally proud of Abdulla, who also secured 1st place in MediVote, independently representing Tishk International University.

Two students. Two separate first-place victories. One outstanding achievement for TIU. 🏆🏆

Tishk International University proudly congratulates Abdullah Dler, a fifth-stage dental student, on representing Tishk International University, the Kurdistan Region, and Iraq at the Fulda International Summer University 2026 in Germany.

During the program, Abdullah became the first Iraqi and the first TIU student to participate in this international initiative. Throughout the journey, he was welcomed by the President of Fulda University and the Academic Director, performed Kurdish music during the opening ceremony, attended the Official Launch of the Global Health Project at the Berlin Museum of Medical History of the Charité, and presented Tishk International University to Timon Gremmels, Hessian Minister for Science and Research, Arts and Culture.

This remarkable achievement is a source of pride for our university and reflects TIU’s commitment to empowering students to represent Kurdistan and Iraq on the international stage. We are proud of Abdullah’s dedication and wish him continued success in his academic and professional journey.

From June 21 to June 24, 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University held sessions to discuss the graduation theses of the fifth-grade students. The event was overseen by Professor Dr. Jafar Naghshbandi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Ranj Nadhim, Graduation Project Course Instructor.

Specialized committees were established to evaluate the graduation research projects. These committees were assigned based on the specific disciplines to ensure a thorough and detailed assessment of each project. The committees provided comprehensive evaluations and offered valuable recommendations to enhance the quality of the students’ research.
