A patient came to our clinic with poor oral hygiene and a fear of smiling.Her depression over losing her job made her visit us.Her smile was transformed after aligning and treating caries.

A case of leukoplakia came to our clinic with a burning sensation and a white patch on his cheeks. After diagnosis, a history of smoking and over-spicy food intake was noted.
☺️ We gave them a proper diet and oral & topical medication. We gave oral hygiene instructions and encourage him to not continue smoking.

=▶️> LEUKOPLAKIA (smoking keratosis)
• It's a non-scrapable white or grey patch.
•Seen on the tongue, cheeks, the floor of the mouth
•Rough in texture
•Causes are irritation by teeth or uneven fillings, smoking, alcohol use, ill-fitting dentures
•Can be treated by removing underlying causes
•Medications depend upon the severity of the lesion
•Topical and oral medication can be given and encourage them to stop bad habits.
•In severe conditions surgery may be required.
• Follow-up should be done
