Graduation Ceremony ‘Adhyaya ’26’ Held at Mar Baselios Dental College
Kothamangalam: The graduation ceremony of the 2020 BDS batch of Mar Baselios Dental College was held under the title ‘Adhyaya ’26’ at 3:30 p.m. on August 14 at the Abun Mor Baselios Thomas I Memorial Hall. The ceremony commenced with an academic procession.
Principal Prof. Dr. Byju Paul Kurian delivered the welcome address. H.G. Elias Mor Julius, Metropolitan of the Kothamangalam region, presided over the function. Rev. Fr. Saju Kureeckkappillil, Vicar of Mar Thoma Cheriyapally, delivered the blessing address.
Mr. Prasanth Nair, IAS, Special Secretary, Sports Department, Government of Kerala, inaugurated the ceremony and delivered the inaugural address. Prof. Dr. Raison Thomas, Director of CEDEES, a renowned dental PG entrance coaching institution, delivered the keynote address. Mr. Shibu Thekkumpuram, Hon. MLA of Kothamangalam and the Guest of Honour, presented the merit awards.
Principal Prof. Dr. Byju Paul Kurian administered the graduation oath. Mr. Vincent P. P., Vice President of the MBMM Association; Mr. Salim Cherian, Secretary; Mr. Sunny M. M., Treasurer; Prof. Dr. Varghese Mani, Dean of the College; and Mar Thoma Cheriyapally Trustee and MBITS Secretary Mr. Binoy Thomas along with Mr. Lal Varghese, Manager, Mar Baselios School, delivered felicitations.
Dr. Sabu Kurian, Chairman, Mar Thoma Cheriyapally Selection Board; Mr. Saneeb Raghunathan, Chief Operations Officer, MBMM Hospital; Dr. Kemthose Paul, Chief Operations Officer, Dental College; Vice Principal Dr. Jayan Jacob Mathew; Dr. Eby Aluckal; Dr. Joseph Sebastian; Dr. Sheethal Hilarion; and Dr. Anjali Susan George also addressed the gathering.
