A noteworthy case of an odontogenic tumour diagnosed at VISTA CBCT CENTER.
CBCT reveals a predominantly hypodense, expansile lesion involving the left posterior mandible. Internally, the lesion demonstrates multiple curvilinear septations, subdividing it into multiple large compartments and imparting a characteristic “soap-bubble” appearance. Additionally, peripheral clusters of small ovoid hypodense compartments are noted, contributing to a “honeycomb” appearance.
The imaging features are highly suggestive of an ameloblastoma.
