Child was 4 years old...*when pedodontist refused him treatment..* Patient's parents were kept under the impression that baby teeth will fall... don't worry...kiddo was put on multiple course of antibiotics..by the dentist rather than given appropriate treatment. Parents were very distressed as the child has *stopped eating* anything hard, or fibrous food.. diet limited to soft food only...weight reduced, anxiety stepped up along with pain and discomfort.. patient was referred to us..at age of 6 years.Under the smilespecial initiative, we have done a mammoth job of restoring all his teeth ( multiple pulpotomy) , fillings, preventive therapy..but imagine the trauma of neglected oral hygiene for almost 2 years...it will take time to reverse the eating pattern for the child...but we are trying to do that too.

Our team of smilespecial conducted the much awaited workshop on *Dental intervention* for special needs children and adults. We are glad to share that it *was attended by parents of children from 18 months of age to 28 years of age*.
