I have spent ten years learning to graft well. I have spent the last seven learning to design better.
When I started placing implants in the UK, bone augmentation was an analogue craft. The volume you achieved depended on your hands, your day, your judgement at the table. We accepted that. We called it experience.
I no longer accept it.
Since 2017 I have been running a fully digital workflow at the Eledent Clinic in Surrey. Today I am the UK’s highest-volume user of CAD/CAM customised bone regeneration
what I now teach as the Digital Lattice Strategy: a pre-engineered titanium lattice, manufactured to the patient’s CBCT, installed without bending, removed without cutting.
Over the next twelve weeks I’ll share what we have learned. Not as marketing. As a record.
