⭐️ Meet Jennie⭐️

Hello, I’m Dr Jennie & I will be the new Dentist starting at the Lounge Dental Suite. I qualified in 2014 from University of Manchester & then achieved a place in the highly competitive longitudinal foundation training scheme in yorkshire. During this time I obtained 2 yrs training in oral surgery, community & general practice. I moved back to Manchester & had the pleasure of working in the NHS for about 6 yrs until moving into the private sector. In my second (and last!) maternity leave, I studied a post graduate diploma in prosthodontics. I love to learn & regularly complete dental courses so I can offer more options to my patients. Before my dentistry degree I completed a BSc in Psychology & Neuroscience & wanted to be a psychologist! The experience I obtained on this pathway, made me a more understanding & empathetic dentist with those who experience dental anxiety. I understand that this is a real fear & I am happy to take my time to help you through this.
In my other job, I am a proud mum of 2. I love swimming & spinning & I have recently joined a musical theater choir!
I’m excited to start and look forward to meeting you all.
