from a love of Breakbeat. There is no set genre, if it sounds good they play it - Simples! We're also lucky enough to have Slyde as part of the crew. Jason totally ripped up the dance floor when he came to play & we thought we need more of that! Here's a bit about them all...
Col Bibby, or "Phat Dadi" is a country boy gone bad. Bad as in Bad-Ass basslines. After getting caught up in the old-skool genre "back in the day" Col taught himself to mix & scratch some 20years ago, mixing mostly itallian piano classics. But 8yrs ago he found breakbeat & it was love at 1st beat. He had found his perfect genre & the drive to take his skills to where they are today. We all agreed it was a bit selfish that he kept these skills to himself any longer & SubSonic is the place where he will be showing them off. Cheeky mixing combined with massive enthusiam, and armed with a CD wallet to die for, his sets make speakers shake & rib cages rumble! Chris K started DJing in local Manchester bars and clubs in 2005 including his own club night. In 2008 Chris K landed a residency @ Naughty Panda. Within just 8 months Chris K helped propel Naughty Panda onto the global breaks scene, earning the night a nomination at the 2009 Breakspoll Awards for Best Small Club Event. In 2010 & 2011 Naughty Panda was again nominated at Breakspoll, missing out by the smallest ever recorded margin! Chris K has played in some of the countries biggest and best night clubs along side the likes of....Stanton Warriors, Utah Saints, Beat Assassins, Lady Waks, NAPT, Rennie Pilgrem, Lee Coombs, Soul of Man, General Midi & many more.....

Slyde cut their teeth releasing a string of bullets on the world-renowned Fingerlickin’ label. From their debut, ‘Slippidy Slide’ to the outrageous ‘Sex n Drugs’, to the huge ’Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, each received extensive radio play on XFM, KISS 100 & Radio 1. The duo have gained a reputation for innovative re-edits & bootlegs in their DJ sets as well as writing banging original tunes now released on their own offshoot label SLYBEATS. Their most recent smash single in May 2010, ‘Move Ya Body’ dominated the Beatport charts, staying at no.1 for weeks. Slyde’s dynamic DJ skills have seen them in demand at the worlds coolest clubs & festivals, opening at Glastonbury for Annie Nightingale’s show on Radio 1, touring Australia, Asia & Canada, playing Glade, Miami WMC, parties in San Francisco for Burning Man & rocking the world famous Womb Club in Tokyo, whilst regularly smashing it on the London scene at Fabric, Matter & Ministry of Sound. Slyde’s ability to push the boundaries resulted in the album ‘Everyone’s entitled to our Opinion’ which featured a whole host of vocalists from MC Sirreal to their long time collaborator, Jamaican MC Lady Posh. The album was hailed variously as ‘An Aural House Party’ (IDJ), ‘Exploring the outer reaches of Filthy Crunkin Electro’ (DJ mag) and saw the duo being dubbed ‘The New Kings of Electro Sleaze’ (F*!
