🌼 We’ll be at Petts Wood May Fayre! 🌼

Caring Dental will be at the Petts Wood May Fayre on Monday 4th May.

📍 Petts Wood Memorial Hall and Gardens
⏰ The fayre usually runs from late morning through the afternoon, with lots of stalls, activities, and a great community atmosphere.

It’s always a fantastic local event with plenty to see and do for families, so make sure you come along and say hello.

We’ll be running a “Guess How Many Toothpastes” game.

🏆 Prizes include:

• Two children’s toys
• One FREE Hygienist appointment

🦷 Serving Petts Wood for Over Two Decades! 🦷

Chris has been caring for patients in Petts Wood since 2000. With more than 25 years in private general practice, he has built Caring Dental around calm, patient-centred dentistry and long-term oral health.

Alongside Chris are Dr Natalie Morgan and Dr James Dodd, whose training and experience allow us to provide comprehensive care all under one roof.

🏆 We Won! 🏆

Caring Dental has won the Exceptional Employer award at the London South East Colleges Apprenticeship Awards.

This award recognises employers who provide outstanding support, training and development opportunities for apprentices. We were nominated due to our commitment to training and supporting apprentice dental nurses within our practice.

Apprenticeships are an important pathway into dentistry, allowing trainee dental nurses to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience alongside their formal qualification.

Thank you to our entire team for the guidance and support they provide to our apprentices!

🩻 Behind the Scenes in Our X-Ray Room 🩻

After your dental X-rays are taken in the surgery, our dental nurses carefully process them using our digital imaging system. The machine converts the images into clear, high-resolution files within seconds, allowing your dentist to assess them immediately in the surgery!

Digital X-rays help us detect decay, monitor bone and gum health, all while using significantly lower radiation than traditional film systems.

Here’s Chris carrying out an intra-oral scan to update a patient’s digital records. These scans capture a detailed 3D image of the teeth and gums, allowing us to monitor changes over time - including wear, movement, and overall oral health.

Today we’re joining the campaign for Mouth Cancer Awareness Week by taking part in Bake Something Blue!

Here’s our practice manager Heather with her blue creation - helping raise awareness of the signs, symptoms and importance of early detection for mouth cancer.

Here’s our oral surgeon Bizhan using our intraoral scanner to capture highly detailed 3D images of a patient’s teeth and gums.

This advanced technology replaces traditional dental impressions - no trays, no mess, and far greater accuracy. The scan allows us to plan treatments such as crowns, implants, and Invisalign with precision and comfort.
