Why do I use a microscope? 🔬
A dental microscope is used to improve diagnosis, treatment, and precision by providing magnification, enhanced visibility, and better ergonomics for the dentist. This allows for more accurate and less invasive procedures, such as early detection of decay, precision root canals, and delicate work on restorations and implants, which can lead to faster healing times and better outcomes for patients.
Early detection: Magnification allows me to spot the early signs of decay, cracks, or other issues that are not visible to the naked eye.
Thorough examination: A higher level of visual accuracy helps in the thorough and effective identification of irritants like calculus, even in hard-to-reach areas.
Greater precision: The microscope helps me perform procedures with greater accuracy, minimizing damage to adjacent teeth and soft tissue.
Minimally invasive procedures: Enhanced visibility allows for more conservative and minimally invasive treatments, which can lead to less discomfort and faster healing.
