Kieryn talks us through what long-term dental health really looks like.

It starts early. Straight teeth that can be cleaned well, preventive treatments like fissure sealants, and regular hygiene care all play a part.

But more than that, it’s about having a plan. Ongoing guidance, the right habits, and consistent care over time.

The goal is simple: reaching later life with strong, healthy gums and teeth that have never needed a filling. It’s not luck. It’s prevention, done well.

Thinking about whitening your teeth?

Professional whitening is both safe and effective, especially when it’s done with custom-made trays designed by your dentist.

Using a desensitising toothpaste alongside your whitening gel helps keep sensitivity under control, making the whole process much more comfortable.

Most people start noticing a brighter smile within just a few days, though the timeline depends on how dark the teeth are to begin with.

With today’s advanced gels and toothpaste, sensitivity is far easier to manage than ever before.

If you’re ready to boost your smile safely, please get in touch to find out more.

Ever wondered what our 3D dental scan actually does?

It’s more than just a cool image, it captures hundreds of photos to build a precise digital model of your mouth.

This helps us spot areas that may need attention, check how well you’re brushing, and plan treatment long before problems develop.

From night guards and whitening trays to crowns, bridges and Invisalign braces, this scan lets us design everything with accuracy and comfort in mind.

Thinking about braces for your child?

An orthodontic assessment around age eight can make all the difference. At this stage, the front adult teeth and molars have usually appeared, giving us a clear picture of how the rest will come through.

Early checks mean we can spot crowding or spacing issues before they cause problems later on.

The earlier we see them, the more options we have to guide their smile naturally.

Please get in touch to arrange an assessment.

Waking up with jaw pain or stiffness?

It could be a sign that you’re clenching or grinding your teeth while you sleep.

Clenching can crack or fracture teeth, and grinding can wear them down over time and both can cause lasting damage if left untreated.

The good news? A simple intraoral device, custom-made by your dentist, can help protect your teeth and relieve the strain.

Some people also consider tox injections to reduce clenching, but it’s essential to see an experienced professional, as the area involves important facial anatomy.

If this sounds familiar, please get in touch for more details and our team can advise on the best way to protect your smile.

✨ Porcelain Dental Veneers ✨ treatment by Dr Michael Nigro BDS (Rand) Senior Partner at Roseneath Dental Practice

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells designed to cover the front surface of teeth. Made from high-quality porcelain, they can enhance the appearance of your smile by addressing concerns such as discolouration, chips, uneven spacing, or worn enamel.

Here are some key benefits:

1️⃣ Refined Aesthetics
Veneers can improve the overall look of your teeth while maintaining a natural appearance that blends with your existing smile.

2️⃣ Conservative Treatment
Only a minimal amount of tooth structure is removed to apply the veneer, making it a relatively conservative cosmetic option.

3️⃣ Durability
Porcelain veneers are strong and stain-resistant, offering long-lasting results with proper care.

4️⃣ Improved Confidence
A more even, polished smile can often lead to greater comfort and confidence in social or professional settings.
