The original founder of Harrow.On.The.Hill Dental, Fareeda is an implant dentist with more than 35 years dental experience and 19 years of experience in Implant placement. Fareeda's pursuit for excellence throughout her career has resulted in a multitude of high qualifications in dentistry and in the specialised field of dental implants. Having started her career mainly in Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery in teaching hospitals in London, Bristol, Hull and Glasgow, she then went into general practice in 1988. Since 1994, she dedicated her interest in cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology and received advanced training in Sweden, USA and the UK. From 1996 till 1999, she worked abroad as Consultant in Dental and Oral surgery, during which time she introduced Implants for the first time In Oman and worked mainly in implant treatment. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology, Diplomate of the International Congress of Implantology and an Examiner for the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Until recently, she worked as a clinical teacher of Oral Surgery at King's College Dental School, London and was a postgraduate Vocational Trainer for six years with the London Deanery for Postgraduate Dental Education. In 2010 she set up this beautiful new practice equipped with the state of the art technology and thoroughly enjoys providing her clients with the best of what modern dentistry can offer. In 2018, her daughter Dr Zainab Al-Mukhtar and son in law Dr Ahmed Hussain bought the practice and continue to deliver a world class service to their patients focussing on cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
