A very big thank you to our wonderful nurses: Shelley, Schreene, Kim and everyone in the past.

Dental nursing is more than just suctioning the mouth during procedures.

There is decontamination of instruments and the clinical area which was especially vital during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A lot of setting up, planning, keeping up to date with current regulations. All of our nurses have training annually in CPR and medical emergencies too.

Also never underestimate the power of a reassuring smile or pat on the shoulder, we know this makes a lot of patients feel at ease and comfortable coming to see us.

Here at our South Croydon dental practice, we welcome patients of all ages. We are a family friendly practice, who have had the privilege of seeing patients that came to us when they were kids and are now full-grown adults.

We believe it is so important to look after your teeth from a young age so that you can have that perfect smile for the rest of your life.

Babies

At Brighton Road Dentalcare we recommend that you bring in to see our child friendly dentists when they get their first teeth coming through. It is great to get them used to seeing a dentist so that they don’t feel afraid in the future.

Toddlers

Once your child starts teething, it is a great idea to monitor them even if they are just ‘baby’ teeth. Even though their first teeth will fault out naturally, it is good to keep an eye on them to prevent premature loss and ensure that your child won’t have to suffer a painful toothache.

Young children and teenagers

Once your child has lost all their baby teeth, it is so important to get their adult teeth checked regularly. We understand that during this period it can be hard to lose control over what your child may eat so being seen regularly at our Croydon clinic means that we can keep a real eye on any problems that could arise.
