The Implant Diploma UK The course is designed to teach dentists wishing to start introducing implant dentistry into practice

The Implant Academy was setup to promote education and introduce dentists to implantology. Our introductory course is over 5 clinical teaching days presented by Dr Nilesh Parmar and Dr Avik Dandapat. The course covers 50 hours of verifiable CPD and covers both theory and hands on teaching.

2. Required records for every implant case
3. Clinical photography and positioning protocols.
4. CBCT basics part 1

October 25/26th 17 hours verifiable CPD

Free gingival grafts
Ctg grafts

November 1/2nd 17 hours CPD

More dates and subjects coming soon including guided surgery, blue sky bio masterclass

Masterclasses are £1900 for 2 days intensive teaching with course literature and all food provided and dinner on Friday evening

Whilst guides definitely have a place they should not replace skills and freehand placements altogether. Then next generation should be taught landmarks and the checks for angulation and then move to guided when they are more experienced. The feel of bone 🦴 quality and drilling resistance is something no guide can teach you but an acute awareness of the feeling of bone is something that comes in time not a weekend away placing implants !

Too many solutions in technology for problems talented surgeons never really had.

Tech is adjunct not a replacement for surgical accumen.
