🦷 New Research Alert! 🦷

A recent study by our team published in BDJ Open evaluates the effectiveness of TotalFill BC Putty in treating traumatised necrotic permanent maxillary teeth in paediatric patients. The retrospective analysis included 66 teeth from 57 patients, with a mean age of 10 years. Results showed that 84.9% of cases exhibited complete or partial radiographic healing. These findings suggest that TotalFill BC Putty is a viable alternative for root end closure in children.

My business partner Dr Katie Kate Blundell and I are proud and delighted to announce that we have purchased a second practice which will serve as a sister practice for Sandstone, to allow us to care for our community, reduce the waiting time for our specialist services and adding in orthodontic specialist services as well, to give us the flexibility to develop and innovate in the future.

The new practice is just a twelve-minute drive from our base at Sandstone in Heswall. We are working on installing new equipment at present, to ensure that we can provide the standard of care that our patients and referrers associate with our team, and we are anticipating starting to see patients at the new practice in the next four weeks and will keep you updated as we progress. 😊
