Recreating an older tooth to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the dentition 🤓

This direct composite restoration was more challenging then it looked to blend it into the remaining tooth. The ‘class II’ was converted to ‘class I’ with a ring of enamel layer- in this case OcE Asteria by .europe followed by a dentine core of EverXflow fibre reinforced composite by … I always use caries detector- in this case the restoration was a lot bigger than the original because of caries removal.
The occlusal surface layer was also with Asteria OcE and shaped using the essential lines concept by
Stain was placed occlusally to mimic an older tooth. This was - Venus Colours choco and amber. Stain can either be placed on the top layer or between the dentine and enamel layers. In this case it was in the top layer.

PLEASE SHARE. Mariupol 🇺🇦 before and after. The shocking reality of war. I recently read that Google maps had updated their imaging… and I thought it would be interesting to see what it was like before the invasion (Apple Maps hadn’t been updated) vs after the invasion in 2023 (Google). What I found was both profound and shocking.. I had to share. A beautiful green city reduced to ruins… all because an autocratic dictators lust for land, a land which he felt was his countries right. The invasion is completely illegal. Those who have led and undertaken war crimes in this illegal invasion should be held accountable to the FULL extent of international law and we must never falter in our commitment to ensure that the Ukrainians absolutely win. When they win and they WILL win, we must support the restoration of this great country 🇺🇦

It’s been a while! I completed fixed orthodontic treatment ( Symmetri brackets) followed by some tooth whitening ( ) and minimal composite bonding on this lovely patient. The result: a more balanced and symmetrical smile… all in time for his wedding 😃 notice gums levels are balanced and symmetrical 🤓

We are a highly successful, established, independent practice in the heart of Leyland, Lancashire.
Our practice is vibrant, modern and fully digital with state of the art technology used on a daily basis within our treatments. We use SOE, have a digital scanner, microscope, digital radiography, and will soon have our own CBCT scanner following renovations.

A brand new surgery fully fitted with a brand new chair, cabinetry, materials and air conditioning is currently being renovated ready for a new candidate.

Our team consists of a dedicated reception team, experienced Dental Nurses and a Treatment Coordinator.

You will be fully supported by our responsive team of clinicians including, a Dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics, a Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics and a Dentist with a Special Interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. We also have two skilled Dental Therapists who provide the highest standards of periodontal care.

The successful candidate will join us a on a part time basis. Ideally your working days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Rebuilding teeth to their natural look is my special interest 🦷🤓

A combination of EverX dentine, Asteria OcE and Venus colours was used to recreate the natural contours of this upper first molar tooth 🦷

Full Mouth Reconstruction Smile Makeover 😍 this lovely patient presented with a broken down dentition. We planned the case with digital diagnostics (study models and wax ups) and reconstructed with 4 posterior bridges, a crown UL3 (with root canal completed by the great ) and at the very back of the mouth, upper and lower cobalt chrome dentures. The result is a more functional dentition with great aesthetics. Naturally the patient was delighted!

Masculinisation Jawline Filler… an incredible result with only 2ml of Juvéderm Volux each side!

Placement was using a combination of cannula and needle. A cannula was used to place filler along the lower border of the mandible (lower jaw), whilst needle was used to define the angle of the mandible. The result is a far more chiselled appearance.

Remember to always see a registered health professional for facial aesthetics!
